ChaZen Private Nature Reserve – The base camp for Africa Through Your Lens is located in the Free State Province of South Africa. The habitat of this reserve has been fully restored to its natural state. Enjoy game drives here to explore the diverse wildlife and vegetation, and an array of bird species that inhabit these scenic hills, nestled in the Vredefort Dome.
Vredefort Dome International World Heritage Site – The largest and oldest meteorite impact structure on Earth and is the only land crater on Earth that is visible from space.
Okavango Delta – The Okavango Delta in Botswana is a very large inland delta, formed where the Okavango River reaches a tectonic trough in the central part of the Kalahari. All the water reaching the delta is ultimately evaporated and transpired and does not flow into any sea or ocean.
Chobe National Park & Chobe River – Chobe National Park, in northern Botswana has one of the largest concentrations of game in Africa with an annual migration of up to 50, 000 elephants.
Victoria Falls – Its combined width of 1,708 meters (5,604 ft.) and height of 108 meters (354 ft.), results in the world’s largest sheet of falling water. The falls are formed as the full width of the river plummets in a single vertical drop into a transverse chasm 1708 meters (5604 ft.) wide, carved by its waters along a fracture zone in the basalt plateau.
